Touching Territory: To Play the Land
Touching Territory explores the intimate connections between landscapes and bodies, revealing the links between what we see and what we hear. Rooted in the dual meaning of the Portuguese word tocar, both to touch and to play, the film approaches touch as a musical and sensorial language. To touch the surroundings, to play instruments, to move through time, space, and the in between. Music, image, soundscape, and performance open pathways through sensitive territories, inviting us to perceive differently what has always been there.
