BLUE FEELING
“BLUE FEELING” represents an analogy of a toxic relationship. Awakening in an unknown and gloomy place, along with the state of confusion, symbolizes the beginning of awareness of such toxicity. The evident wound on the face is a physical projection of the emotional damage caused by the unhealthy relationship. The dreamlike singing (similar to the sirens song in mythology) that draws the protagonist closer to the mysterious figure represents man’s attraction to pleasure. The female figure personifies carnal pleasure, which diverts attention from emotional pain. The portal represents a new beginning. The hesitation in front of it is full of conflicting emotions such as fear, doubt, and curiosity. There is a sense of awareness that the beginning may be unstable, yet despite this, desire takes us by the hand and leads us beyond the portal.
