Daniel, along with his partner Jack, is assigned with the interrogation of a youth criminal alongside his grandmother early in the morning. Last night there was an armed robbery which led to a severe assault to a bystander. Ricky is suspected of this crime. Daniel tries to talk to Ricky, but Jack, with his sole goal to make Ricky confess, pressures Ricky with questions and evidence. Ricky finally confesses in front of his grandma, Ruth, and Jack threatens Ricky with many years in jail. However, after Daniel talks to Ruth and convinces Ricky to answer some more questions, Daniel finds evidence that lessens his degree of participation in the crime and discovers the Domestic violence situation at his home.
